We’re still putting the finishing touches here. Everything you see is usable now, and to ensure accessibility for all, more improvements are on the way!
Our Mission
United Communities Corp. (U.C.C.) is a 501(c)(3) mobile resource nonprofit that meets people where they are. We listen, walk alongside them, and connect individuals and families to resources and relationships that build on their strengths and support their goals.
about U.c.c.

What We Do:
At U.C.C., we believe no one should have to figure things out alone. We offer support in many different areas, including:
Practical assistance – helping people access resources like food, clothing, housing supports, and community programs.
Life coaching and mentoring – to help people plan and take their next steps.
Wellness and safety tools – including resources, referrals, and trainings.
Outreach and support – meeting people where they are, whether at home, in the community, or on the street.
No Wrong Door
Even if you’re not sure whether U.C.C. offers a service, reach out. We will do our best to support you. If we do not provide something directly, we’ll connect you with our trusted collaborators—such as community groups, health providers, schools, faith organizations, and local agencies—because together we have access to many more resources and supports. Our role is to listen, walk alongside you, and help open doors across the community.

What Makes Us Different
We go beyond simply pointing people to services. At U.C.C., our volunteers walk alongside community members every step of the way. If someone needs a connection, we don’t just give out a referral—we introduce them to trusted providers, stay with them through the process, and follow up to make sure they feel supported and not alone.
What makes U.C.C. different is our hands-on, relationship-centered approach:
Warm handoffs: We personally connect people to partners and check in to make sure the connection works.
Shared experience: Many of our volunteers have faced similar challenges, which helps break down stigma and build trust.
Accessibility: As a mobile group, we can meet people wherever they feel comfortable—at home, in a community space, or on the street.
Community growth: The people we support often choose to give back as volunteers, mentors, or leaders—helping to strengthen the community from within.
Together, these practices make U.C.C. more than just a service. We are neighbors helping neighbors, building lasting pathways of connection, empowerment, and care.
Our Approach
At U.C.C., we know that people’s lives are shaped by many things—not just their personal goals, but also their families, their communities, and the larger systems around them. That’s why we don’t use a one-size-fits-all model. Instead, we listen, learn, and combine practical experience with proven methods to look at the whole picture.
Here’s how this shows up in our work:
Individual: life coaching, skills development, and goal planning.
Family: family coaching and support circles that strengthen bonds.
Systems: working with organizations and policymakers to improve fairness and accessible systems of care.

You’re not alone—reach out, connect, or get involved.
We are located in South Shore, Massachusetts, and work with our community, providing support within the Boston area and Norfolk County.
