Our Mission

Empowering culturally diverse community members with the skills to build positive relationships, overcome barriers develop confidence, and acquire positive life skills through mental and physical health conditioning.

About United Communities

Feature

We strive to be a Multiple Disciplinary Resource, Wellness, and Training Center that meets the numerous needs of the culturally diverse people within our community. EVERYONE  is welcomed. Together we Unite in a world of expressive arts we stand with you. Never to be alone again!  United Communities is where you belong.

The TKD United division aspires to integrate everything into one interdisciplinary program where everyone is involved with the success of the athlete.

Making it easier for athletes to get funded, sponsored, and obtain greater supportive opportunities within all aspects of their lives and sport.

Our Athletic Goals

  • Our organization's goal is to, promote, support, organize and develop athletes, living on the South Shore, in the art of Taekwondo. We aim to train, educate and prepare athletes for competition at the local, state, and national levels. TKD United also hopes to provide financial assistance for athletes to pay for training, travel, and competition costs.

  • We hope to offer Taekwondo, MMA, karate, and fitness training along with yoga classes, group meditations, nutrition education, support groups, and other forms of wellness support including expressive arts. We also aspire to offer students from other dojos that meet the requirements access to scholarships to help them continue their training.

  • We want to support them in achieving their goals and dreams by providing scholarships, and sponsorship opportunities.  Many youths would benefit from practicing Taekwondo however with the growing financial cost of, Dojo tuition, equipment, competitive events, and accumulating expenses they are not able to participate.

  • Our facility would be a complete wellness center where the athlete would be supported based on their needs and goals.
